In memory: Tasha

He spoke with tears of fifteen years
How his dog and he
They would travel about
But his dog up and died
He up and died
And after twenty years he still grieved

Mr. Bojangles

Tasha, we love you! You are remembered by your many friends, none more than Brandon, the friend who stood by your side for fifteen years.

Please see the Flickr link at right for a collection of photos of Tasha from last summer.

Brandon I'm sorry Tasha is gone. I'm sad. Tasha had a giant heart and a great and loyal friend in you and she had a great life. That's a great thing. Tasha was a giant. Maybe even bigger.. she was a Tiny Dog". Now that's big.
I'm sorry she is gone.

Thank you all for your nice words and thoughts. It definitely helps to hear them. And thanks to tiny-dog for the pictures and remembering her. Definitely, I am better for having known her and was lucky we did have a long time together. Though I am happy she didn't suffer and can take some comfort in that. It helps to know other people are thinking about her (and me).

I liked seeing the pictures of tasha at the bbq. that was so funny that she wouldn't settle down the whole day and then when she finally decided to lay down, it was right in the middle of the croquet course. and then she couldn't be lured away (despite chris and other's best attempts).

I will miss her.

I was really sad to hear about Tasha. I grew up with dogs that were way more than just pets - they were loyal friends and caring memebers of the family. I only met her once, but I saw how sweet she was and knew how much she meant to you. Nup - hang in there, k?
