More scary dolls

More scary dolls from the same eBay lot. What haunted toy graveyard did this seller exhume these dead-eyed playthings from? Dirt-smeared, kohl-eyed Victorian kewpies? Freckled, bulb-headed grimacing freckle twins with dull scissor haircuts? Soulless prairie wife zombies???

Someone should start a blog called Scary Dolls.

Too bad we just had a garage sale because I could have been the one to start the scary doll website as I actually had quite a few. I have been fascinated by the phenomenon and they have made appearances in my photos.

What gets me about all of these scary dolls is when you think about how many people worked on them to bring thme to market and no one along the way said "that's the scariest f*ing thing I have ever seen".

And think about the children. Won't wanyone think about the children!!
