Dear anonymous,
Ok, I am
doubting that your friends are actually homeless, which is a grave
situation, but will respond all the same. As you may have read
on the art page, the print edition of tiny-dog's
parent company, Uberhoot, was offline
and photocopied for the masses in the years 1996 and 1997. In
that time, I made the following discoveries about print publications:
- They are
expensive. Actually, hosting a domain is almost as bad... but
not quite.
- They are
super time consuming and usually require the presence of the
staff (Nupper) to assist with the drawing, taping, mock-upping,
and photocopying production tasks. As we have previously noted,
Nupper is unavailable indefinitely while on a work shift that
has so far lasted since before Christmas without even a bathroom
break.
- When you
are done and have all the issues, there is no one to give them
to unless youare still in college.
- Still
they are cool though.
- Oh well.
signed,
tiny dog.
