I am tiny dog.
Tiny dog has been online since 2001, functioning as a non-stop, high-pressure firehose of random screeds, art projects, botched writing experiments, and anything else you can paste into HTML.
The very internet sags under the weight of the content tiny dog has foisted upon the masses in that time, some of which may or may not be accessible from this site at the current moment due to hellish content migrations, server changes, mood swings, and site redesigns.
History
Tiny dog has its ancestral origins in the print world, and was once a thoroughly ridiculous print 'zine called Uberhoot that enjoyed a 5 1/2 issue run in the mid 90's. (Ten years later, it was inexplicably resurrected as a joint blog featuring random, occasional contributors.)
Uberhoot's print era was followed by a late 90's foray into the intertubes known as The Hall of Heads, named after the great They Might Be Giants song of that name.
Finally, in the spring of 2001, this site yapped its way online, where it remains today. Tiny dog is named after the late, great Nora the min pin, a wicked, calculating, sausage-shaped animal who terrorized my nuclear family throughout the 1990's and into the new millennium. She simultaneously embodied a seething, wiggly hatred and a boundless depth of gusto for living that will continue to serve as the inspiration for this site.
P.S.: I feel it relevant to add that in 2007, the tiny dog empire spawned yet another site, Strikethru which randomly, concerns itself with manual typewriters and old-fashioned ephemera, and has lately taken the lion's share of this blogger's attention.
