LETTERS

January 2004 | Dearest Tiny Dog,

Long time reader, and not exactly a first time letter writer. Tiny-dog has been a source of like-minded ranting that I have, in fact, used to help me laugh through some of the crap that life throws at us. Or at least to know there is a kindred spirit out there in the void who is saying what we are all thinking (well, I can at least speak for myself on this).

That said, here are some things I would like to see on the site:

  • Actually, more dog stuff. you are very funny when you write about animals. so I guess more nature in general. early rants about the bees and the crafty kildeer remain some of my favorite rants (as well as the bunny from
this year). you are the jeff corwin of a suburban neighborhood animal habitat (???)
  • more music reviews or perhaps an occasional "I'm listening to". I know lots of people do that, but as I share similar musical tastes to that of tiny-dog, it might give me a clue as to what new things to look for or avoid.
  • perhaps a tiny-dog coffee mug for sale?
  • more hand drawn comics, more paintings, more illustrated stories

Anyway, these are just the types of things I would like to see and I understand that you have to take all of your reader's suggestions into account (along with what your corporate sponsors and censors will let you get away with).

But I will leave with saying that I think 2k3 took tiny-dog to new heights. There was a steady stream of updates and continuing story threads. and who can forget your coverage of "the bunny who is messing with my head and also the cat's head" - classic! So, as I write this as my clock turns from 2003 to 2004 with the sound of noisemakers, firecrackers and revelers screaming,

Happy New Year, and keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
A Devoted Reader
