Tiny dog would like to step back today and contemplate the 12,000 Iraqis and 900 coalition forces who have met a violent end in service to the preemptive war currently being waged by our own United States against Iraq, for, as it turns out, the mere potential to create weapons that could theoretically harm the United States (a description that fits, more or less, all nations of the world).
That's a lot of lives, my friends, I don't care what kind of bumper stickers you have on your car. With this in mind, tiny dog invites you to peruse the woefully ironic White House Web page concerning the National Sanctity of Human Life Day:
This Nation was founded upon the belief that every human being is endowed by our Creator with certain "unalienable rights." Chief among them is the right to life itself... Thomas Jefferson wrote that, "[t]he care of human life and happiness and not their destruction is the first and only legitimate object of good government."
