October 2003 | Work: last refuge of a fool

Ok, so, I am censuring the most innocuous work rant in history, in which I merely whined about my own career anomie without any specifics whatsoever, because of this article. As much as I admire Heather Armstrong, I don't want to get, as they say (a word surely to be banned in the "most overused terms of 2005" list), "Dooced." Being a stay at home mom would be great, except that I have no kids, and I need the money.
