Sticker collection: 1983 / Sandylion
Sandylions were my favorites, hands down. Most of them were, in some certain way, weird, although this page doesn't reflect that aptly. Sandylion was not fixated on any sticker school in particular, and seemed to spread its love among all the common sticker tropes: balloons, bears, cats, hearts, rainbows, with the occasional weird thematic collection thrown in, e.g., Hickory Dickory Dock.
Sandylion was all over the map with finishes and sizes; some stickers were page-size, some stamp-sized. Some stickers were matte, some pearl, some foil. Sandylion was a little too creative and unfocused to build allegiance in lock-step hearts of little girls, and thus afforded one no slumber party cache, but privately, they hinted of the future's ambiguity.
